Garlic and Chilli Spaghetti
This simple spaghetti dish brings together garlic, olive oil, and chilli for a light yet flavourful meal. Cooked gently in a wide pasta pan, the spaghetti absorbs the oil and garlic evenly, creating a comforting dish with minimal ingredients.
Ingredients

Spaghetti – 250 g

Olive oil – 3 tbsp

Garlic – 4 cloves (thinly sliced or chopped)

Dried chilli flakes – 1/2 tsp (or 1 small fresh chilli, sliced)

Salt – 1 tsp (adjust to taste)

Black pepper – 1/2 tsp

Pasta water – 120 ml (save from boiling the spaghetti)

Parsley – 2 tbsp chopped (optional)
Method

Boil spaghetti in salted water until tender. Before draining, save 120 ml of water.

Heat a BE Living Pasta Pan over medium heat and add olive oil.

Add garlic and cook gently until lightly golden.

Add chilli and cook for a few seconds.

Add the cooked spaghetti and the saved pasta water.

Mix gently until the spaghetti is well coated.

Season with black pepper and add more salt only if needed.

Turn off the heat, add parsley if using, and serve warm.
