Humble Beginnings

At just 25 years old, Chef Belinda began her culinary journey in Indonesia by selling noodles. With passion, resilience, and a love for cooking, she laid the foundation for her future in the food industry. In 1996, she opened her first restaurant in Jakarta, Taman Café, followed by two additional restaurants during the same period, marking the start of her career as a restaurateur.

1995

First Restaurant in Europe

Belinda opened her first restaurant in Europe, Belinda Indonesia Restaurant (BIR), in Grand Market Square, Antwerp, Belgium. This marked her transition from street food entrepreneur to professional restaurateur.

2008

Expanding in Europe

Continuing her expansion in Europe, Belinda opened Bless by Belinda in Brasschaat, Antwerp, Belgium. As her second restaurant in Europe, sharing authentic flavors and her unique culinary identity with an international audience.

2021

Launch of BE | LIVING Cookware

Building on decades of culinary experience, Belinda launched BE | LIVING, her own cookware brand. Today, the brand is sold across regions: The Netherlands, Italy, Germany, USA, UK, Spain, France, and Poland, empowering home cooks and food lovers worldwide.
